What´s in the Can?

Tuna caught one by one.

Caught one by one

The oldest and most ethical method there is. A pole, a line, a single hook. No nets, no FADs, so turtles, dolphins, sharks and juvenile fish stay in the water where they belong.

Sealed while it is fresh

To preserve its quality and flavor, Kona minimizes the time between catch and canning. The tuna is handled carefully, prepared, and canned so you can enjoy its natural taste.

Olive oil from Spain

Extra virgin olive oil from the groves of Toledo in central Spain, gentle enough to carry the fish rather than cover it.

The Maldives

Where the fish comes from

Deep, clean water around the atolls, pole-and-line fishing, and a catch traceable back to the vessel and the landing date.
